2018年普通專升本英語語法：used to / be used to

1．used to可看作一個半助動詞或情態(tài)動詞，其后跟動詞原形，表示過去的習慣或經(jīng)常發(fā)生的動作，例如：

When he was a child, he used to ask lots of questions.

I want to know the places (that/which) he used to go to.

否定式為：used not to(書面語), use(d)n’t to(口語), didn’t use to(口語)

疑問式為：Used sb to …?(書面語), Did sb use to …?(口語)

反意疑問句式為：use(d)n’t sb? (書面語) didn’t sb? (口語)

2．be used to = get used to 都是一個固定的結(jié)構(gòu)，意思為：習慣于某事或做某事的意思，to為介詞，后接名詞或動名詞，不能跟動詞原形，例如：

We are used to the weather in the south of China.

They have got used to getting up early in the morning.

be used to的各種形式變化如下：

疑問式為：Be(具體形式) sb ….? 否定式為：sb be(具體形式) not …

反意疑問式為：be(具體形式) not sb? （be作為系動詞看待）

get used to的各種形式變化如下：

疑問式為：Do/Does/Did sb get …? 否定式為：sb does/do/did not get …

反意疑問式為：do/does/did not sb? （get作為行為動詞看待）

3．be used to + Verb或as/for接名詞，表示某東西被用來作某事或當什么東西來使用，是一個被動語態(tài)的結(jié)構(gòu)，例如：

This knife is usually used to cut fruit.

This magazine was used as a fan last night because of the hot weather.

Blooms are used for cleaning the floor when we do general cleaning.

由于be為助動詞，因此它的疑問式、否定式及反意疑問式則按一般規(guī)則進行變化。

注意used to與would的區(qū)別：

(1)．used to重在表示與現(xiàn)在的對比，含“過去曾經(jīng)/一度，現(xiàn)在未必”之意；would重在敘述過去的情況，沒有上述含義。如可以說：

He used to get up early, but not now. 但不說：He would get up early, but …

(2)．used to可以表示過去習慣或經(jīng)常的狀態(tài)；would不能，它只能表示過去的一個經(jīng)常重復的動作，如可以說：

There used to be a temple nearby. 但不能說：There would be …

(3)．used to較正規(guī)、普通，多用于口語；would不太正規(guī)、多用于書面語。

(4)．兩者都不能用于表示某事發(fā)生的具體次數(shù)。但would可表示過去有時或偶爾發(fā)生的動作，因而可與sometimes, now and then, from time to time等時間狀語連用，例如：

He would sit there for hours sometimes, doing nothing at all.
